CO-FOUNDER, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Ynze, born and raised in Holland, relocated to California to study film and pursue a career in motion picture production. After free-lancing for a decade and a half as Location Manager, Production Manager, Line-Producer and Producer in the world of independent feature film and commercial production he started his own shop in the early 2000’s.

As the founder of Axe Digital, a San Francisco based media production company, he has produced and directed hundreds of Broadcast and Digital spots for political campaigns on the local, state, and national stage and won dozens of awards. Branching out into more general media content, he later co-founded the commercial production company Criminal, where he produces traditional TV spots for ad agencies and branded content films for the major tech companies. He’s traveled all over the world for these productions and has filmed in most of Europe as well as places like Tanzania, South Africa, Haiti, Peru, Australia, and Japan.

Ynze brings to About Films decades of local, national, and global production experience, as well as extensive post-production knowledge.
